A Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained primary care provider is sought for a VA clinic in Ely, Minnesota. J-1 VISA holders are welcome to apply. The clinic is affiliated with the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and is open Monday through Friday and closed on all federal holidays and weekends. No evening or weekend call associated with the position. Visits for established patients are 30 minutes and are 60 minutes for new patients. Fully-equipped medical clinic with a full lab, telemedicine capabilities, and general radiology services. State-of-the-art electronic medical record Excellent nursing and support staff with integrated mental health providers and a pharmacist onsite. United States Citizenship:

Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
