A Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained primary care provider is sought for a VA clinic in Ely, Minnesota. J-1 VISA holders are welcome to apply. The clinic is affiliated with the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and is open Monday through Friday and closed on all federal holidays and weekends. No evening or weekend call associated with the position. Visits for established patients are 30 minutes and are 60 minutes for new patients. Fully-equipped medical clinic with a full lab, telemedicine capabilities, and general radiology services. State-of-the-art electronic medical record Excellent nursing and support staff with integrated mental health providers and a pharmacist onsite. 30 p.m Education Debt Reduction Program(EDRP) may be authorized. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program(EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 06/28/2019. Basic Requirements:
United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
